Israeli Forces Kill Two Palestinians as Ceasefire Violations Reach Day 118

Israeli forces killed two Palestinians in Jabalia as ceasefire violations in Gaza continued for the 118th day, accompanied by heavy shelling, demolitions, and airstrikes across the Strip. Several civilians were injured in attacks targeting displaced families.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Two Palestinians were martyred on Friday by Israeli gunfire in the town of Jabalia, as Israeli occupation forces continued violating the Gaza ceasefire for the 118th consecutive day through airstrikes, artillery fire, and widespread demolition operations.

Local sources reported that the two martyrs were shot dead in the areas of Jabalia al‑Balad and al‑Waha in northern Gaza. At least five others were injured when Israeli tanks opened heavy fire on tents sheltering displaced families in al‑Maslakh and southern al‑Buraq, south of Khan Yunis. A woman was also wounded by Israeli gunfire east of Deir al‑Balah.

Earlier on Friday, Israeli forces carried out large‑scale demolition operations, blowing up residential buildings in several parts of the enclave. Residents reported massive explosions after homes were destroyed northeast of Gaza City and in other northern areas.

Additional demolitions were reported southeast of Khan Yunis amid heavy military activity. Israeli helicopter gunships also fired over Rafah, while armored vehicles shelled and opened fire on surrounding neighborhoods. Tanks continued heavy fire toward eastern and southern Khan Yunis.

On Thursday night, Israeli warplanes bombed a home belonging to the Abu Hattab family in the Khan Yunis refugee camp.

Since the ceasefire took effect in October 2025, Israeli forces have killed at least 599 Palestinians through repeated violations, including 192 children and 82 women, and wounded 1,526 others, according to local health authorities.

Since the start of the Israeli genocide on October 7, 2023, more than 71,803 Palestinians have been martyred and over 171,570 injured. Nearly 90 percent of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure has been destroyed, with UN estimates placing reconstruction costs at around $70 billion.
